Join Us for RDP’s Luncheon at ProAbition on Tuesday, January 28^th at Noon

January’s luncheon will feature a presentation by Emilio Ramirez, Deputy Director of the City of Riverside Community Development Department who will speak on the City’s plan to reduce and prevent homelessness.  Through a collaborative effort known as the Riverside Homeless Task Force, the City of Riverside has produced the Riverside Homeless Reduction and Prevention Strategy Five-Year Plan that strives to help individuals and families move toward self-sufficiency. The City of Riverside has taken a pro-active approach to addressing homelessness in our community by partnering with a wide-range of non-profit organizations, social service agencies, faith-based institutions, and the community at-large.

Also speaking will be Lieutenant Vance Hardin, North Area Commander, on new police cooperative safety initiatives, and Mike Bacich, Riverside Public Utilities, on water conservation.

The luncheon will be held at ProAbition Kitchen and Cocktails located at the corner of Main Street and Sixth Street.  The cost of the luncheon meeting is $20 if reservations are made prior to Friday, January 24^th and $22 at the door.  Sorry but all reservations will be billed unless cancelled on or before Friday, January 24^th.  To reserve, please email either Janice Penner, or Shirley Schmeltz at rdpshirley@sbcglobal.net or call 951-781-7335.
