38th Annual California Police Chiefs Association (CPCA) Training Symposium
The Riverside Police Department will host the 38th Annual California Police Chiefs Association (CPCA) Training Symposium and Fallen Peace Officer Tribute from February 22 to 26, 2015 at the Riverside Convention Center.
Established in 1966, the California Police Chiefs Association (CPCA) is a prestigious organization with a membership of over 625 municipal police chiefs, assistant police chiefs and police commanders. The objective of the CPCA is to promote and advance police administration and crime prevention throughout the state. The symposium provides the opportunity for agencies to participate in educational sessions, listen to keynote speakers on issues related to the administration of law enforcement agencies and the industry, and interact and network with other municipal chiefs of police.
The Fallen Peace Officer Tribute will be held on February 23, 2015 during the opening ceremony and will honor the 13 law enforcement officers lost to duty in California during 2014. The families of these fallen heroes will be attending the tribute and the Riverside Police Department is seeking sponsorships to help with hotel expenses, meals, and any other needs that may come up while the families are in Riverside. As a Fallen Officer Tribute sponsor, your company logo will be displayed in the Fallen Officer Tribute program, acknowledged throughout the event and you will receive a 2015 Fallen Officer Tribute Support window poster to proudly display in your business. Sponsorship levels begin at the rate of $100.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the Fallen Officer Tribute Program, please contact Officer Robert Olsen at rlosen@riversideca.gov or by phone at (951) 826-5867.
