Now located inside Aurea Vista: A Shopping Mecca, Formal Image provides comfortable, elegant, and hip tuxedos and vests. Owners Peggy Roa and David St. Pierre incorporated Formal Image into their first concept, Delights and Invites, which specializes in invitations. Their vision for Formal Image was a result of an opportunity they saw in downtown Riverside. “Since we already were doing invitations and event and party planning, we seized an opportunity for us to take over a formal wear store. Both David and I felt it was not only a great opportunity but a complement to what we were already offering,” says Peggy Roa. Their ultimate goal is provide tuxedos at low prices that will beat local competitors’ rates while providing a personalized shopping experience. Peggy Roa states, “We wanted to and continue to offer very clear package deals with no added costs.”

Formal Image is one of many retail stores that can be found in downtown Riverside. Peggy Roa feels that the “downtown area offers a unique experience and we enjoy being a part of it.” First time customers can expect to find a wide variety of colorful and sharp designs. Each person will walk out of Formal Image feeling confident in their choice. Along with tuxedos and vests, other accessories for purchase include bow ties, cuff links, and groomsmen gifts.

Since prom season is just around the corner, Formal Image is offering a special deal to high school students. Peggy Roa states, “the package includes pants, shirt, jacket, vest, bow tie (ties are for purchase only) and shoes for a total of $80.00.” This package deal will definitely make a statement for prom.
