36th Annual Mayor’s State of the City Address

The City of Riverside’s new mayor, William “Rusty” Bailey will share his vision for the community at his first State of the City Address on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Business and community leaders will also hear a report on Riverside’s Economic Outlook from Jordan Levine, Director of Economic Research at Beacon Economics, LLC.
Levine, a leading authority on the California state economy and its many regional economies, is responsible for running and updating Beacon Economics’ quarterly state and metro area forecast models and plays a leading role in the firm’s major consulting projects. He has conducted economic forecasting and analysis for the Office of the California State Controller, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
The once luncheon will become an evening event this year, with doors opening at 5:00PM to the Riverside Auditorium and Events Center with a reception to follow. In addition to the Mayor’s address and Riverside Economic Outlook the program will include the Annual Hero Award presentation and Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful will announce Beautification Award winners.
The 36th Annual State of the City Address continues the tradition as one of Riverside’s most important and largest events, drawing more than 1,000 business and community leaders for the past several years.
